ChatterBudz – Child Safety Standards
Last updated: September 29, 2025
ChatterBudz is a messaging platform for positive, respectful conversation. We maintain a zero‑tolerance policy for content or behavior that exploits or endangers children. These published standards satisfy app store requirements, including Google Play’s child safety standards policy, and describe how to report concerns and how we respond.
1) Zero‑Tolerance on CSAM
ChatterBudz strictly prohibits the creation, sharing, solicitation, or dissemination of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, or any content that exploits or harms a child. Violations result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to law enforcement and appropriate hotlines, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
2) Prohibited Content & Conduct (non‑exhaustive)
- Any CSAM, sexualized imagery, or sexual discussion involving a minor.
- Grooming, enticement, or attempts to obtain sexual content from a minor.
- Doxing a minor or sharing a minor’s personal data without verifiable guardian consent.
- Threats, blackmail, extortion, or coercion involving a minor.
- Solicitation of in‑person meetups with minors for sexual purposes.
3) Reporting Child Safety Concerns
Users can report messages and profiles directly in the app via the report tools. You may also contact our safety team by email at support@allsidefusion.com. Please include any relevant usernames, message links, timestamps, and screenshots (do not forward illegal images).
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first, then notify us.
4) Our Review & Response Process
- Initial triage: We prioritize child‑safety reports and begin review as quickly as possible (typically within 24 hours; sooner for imminent harm).
- Enforcement: We may preserve evidence, restrict or terminate accounts, and block abusive content and devices.
- Escalation: Where legally required or appropriate, we file reports with NCMEC and/or relevant authorities.
- Cooperation: We cooperate with law enforcement subject to applicable law and our privacy obligations.
5) Safety by Design & Moderation
- In‑app reporting and blocking tools for users and guardians.
- Proactive and reactive moderation to detect and address policy‑violating content.
- Rate‑limits and anti‑spam protections to reduce abusive behavior.
- Continuous policy and tooling improvements based on risk assessment.
6) Guidance for Parents/Guardians
Talk regularly with children about online safety, use device‑level and in‑app controls, and review app activity as appropriate. If you discover possible exploitation, report it to us immediately and—if urgent—to your local authorities.
